Serving 15,066 cities nationwide. Plumbing, water, sewer and drain work done the same way since 1998 — diagnosed properly, priced before it starts.
15 plumbing services, from a dripping faucet to a new main water line.
Gene's Plumbing started in Woodstock, VA in 1998 as two people and one truck, doing water, sewer and water treatment work for neighbors. The work grew the way it does in that trade — one line at a time, on the reputation of the last job.
That is still how it runs. Every call goes to a licensed, insured plumbing contractor who diagnoses before quoting, gives you a number before the wrench moves, and tells you plainly when the smaller fix is the right one. Emergencies are answered at night and on weekends, because a burst pipe does not wait for business hours.
The parts of a plumbing job that are easy to skip, and that we do not.
This started as two people and a truck in 1998 and grew on water, sewer and drain work. Nearly three decades in one trade, not a franchise name bought off a shelf last year.
Every job goes to a licensed, insured plumbing contractor who pulls the permits your town requires. Licence numbers are on the invoice, not buried on a webpage.
You hear the number before a wrench moves. No hourly meter running while you stand there, and no discovering the real cost after the wall is open.
Burst pipes and sewage backups do not wait for business hours. The phone is answered at night and on weekends, and the first thing you get is help finding your shutoff.
Told you need a full repipe or a new sewer line? Get it looked at again. Sometimes it is a smaller fix, and sometimes we confirm the first plumber was right so you can spend with confidence.
Softeners and filters get sized off a real water test, not a sales script. Hardness, iron and sulfur are three different problems and they need three different answers.
Sewer and drain problems get a camera down the line first, and you see the screen. Nobody trenches a yard on a guess when a fifteen minute look will show the break.
Drop cloths go down, cuts get made clean so the patch is easy, and the old tank or fixture leaves with the truck. The room should look better than we found it.

Feedback from homeowners after the truck pulled out.
"Water heater let go on a Sunday morning and flooded half the basement. Had someone here inside two hours, new tank in by afternoon, and he hauled the old one off. Price was what he said on the phone."
"Bill jumped forty dollars with nobody home. They found a slab leak under the hallway in about twenty minutes with a listening device. No jackhammering until they knew exactly where."
"Kitchen drain had been slow for a year. Ran the cable, then put a camera down and showed me the grease ring on his screen. Explained what to stop pouring down it. Has not backed up since."
"Whole house was on galvanized from the fifties. They repiped in PEX one bathroom at a time so we were never without water overnight. Drywall patches were cut clean and easy to fix."
